It's delaying the onset of an activity, not doing a little and then leaving. So what you want to do is target that onset delay. And i think that there are some really creative ways that you can do that. For example, if i'm kind of dreading doing a reading assignment or writing something, one of the things that i'll do is get my work space ready for me to do it. Just by doing these paratory tasks, you are initiating that cascade of events to get you actually doing the thing that you are currently procrastinating.
