Tom Bombadil is the man the hobbits meet him before they get to the prancing pony and he's like out of the book. He invites them over to his house and says hi I'm Tom Bombadil just this guy I live in the woods. And so I think significant interesting things are one that Frodo gives him the ring and he's just like unfazed by it. But Radagast doesn't end up getting involved in any of this because he's just hanging out with his birds. So the the eagle that Gandalf lies on is Radagast. Which is made clear in the book, but it's not, you know in the movie just like a
