The Importance of Pasta in Restaurants
When I was a waiter and busboy in the state of Florida, it was just kind of assumed amongst many of my clientele that every meal, you pack up half of it. The only reason you order pasta in a restaurant, a thing you can easily make at home, is that in restaurants, they put twice as much sauce on the pasta as is needed if it's one of those Alfredo dishes. Yeah, every single Marcel or every single Alfredo has an entire stick of butter, a whole cream. Then you can eat, you can just nibble at a corner of it, take it home tomorrow, boil more noodles. It could be the basis for your leftovers.
