The cholera toxin is produced by a bacteria phase. It essentially prevents your body from absorbing any water and forces you to push out all of the water in your body out of your intestine. Adults that have severe infections can poop out more than a liter of fluid per hour. Some people who get infected are almost entirely asymptomatic.
