The Legacy of Tariq and Ashid
A lot of these that radical era the more radical people were killed put in jail or left the country for fear of being killed. And so you see that legacy be picked up and even further perverted by the likes of Tariq and Ashid. A whole generation of young black people are only being taught certain parts of the legacies of these figures. It took me a couple of years to look back across that history to connect with people who were actually there or hold the original text to that time.
