The Benefits of Working in Early Intervention

There's lots of things I really like about working in early intervention. We come in with a strengths perspective and because we're not statutory child protection, clients are pleased to work with us. In this context, for example, I've described casework that I did with Louise, but we also run a range of group programs. And so it's quite common for a family to be accessing several aspects of our service all at once. So it's kind of win-win as a worker. It's really exciting to get to do a variety of work,. But I can also see how the variety of the service is really, really beneficial for a client as well.
