The Inattentional Blindness Piece
The idea of what we know determines what we see is an extremely prevalent idea in coaching especially from an adaptive expertise point of view. If you don't see it you're not going to adapt as you're speaking that reminds me of my ongoing challenge I suppose as a sports psychologist and there's two challenges rolled into one here a professional challenge and a personal challenge the professional challenge is working in environments where coaches are so heavily socialized into tech to act. A second challenge is me not being too biased towards that biopsychosocial challenge because every single day i'm trying to convince and persuade whilst being careful about convincing and persuading and not going too far.
