In python, there's threading. And even in c plus plus, there's a standard thread now in standard a sink,. Standard a sink i's still a little broken, but it really standar eme more. There are thread pools and ad n process pools. The idea there is you creating a thread is actually, and especially creating a process, is pretty expensive.
