I'm in agreement with almost everything that you say. The point of view is quite similar to the way I would approach a similar question. But it's almost as if you are talking about this situation from the point of view of an individual where no government or society in India ever imagined it to be from the Point of View Of An Individual. So on the one hand, your critique is extremely important and it's holding a great mirror to what's happening in India today.
