The Difference Between Memory and Recognition

Tiavangyan is a phenomenon called recognition in Sanskrit. Recognition means seeing something which has been, who has been experienced earlier and it's like memory. In memory, you're recalling something experienced earlier and doing it entirely in your mind. That person or place is not present in from of. What is not there is being seen. We are recognizing that, oh, I had seen this person years ago. Now, I recognize you are that person.
