The Importance of Value Based Care

I am a physician and when I need care I also struggle with trying to figure out what are the metrics that tell me who's the best doctor. What would be comforting for me is at least knowing that the system is aligned to reward that doctor for better outcomes. My only small pushback there would be that I don't know that we'll ever be able to have patients be as informed as they need to be.
