In ABGs that are using this lactate oxidase reaction, you can get a falsely elevated lactate in the presence of the ethylene glycol metabolite. So depending on how your actual devices are set up, but you in the setting of toxic alcohols, you may have a high lactate if your blood gas machine reports lactates. But when you send it to the lab, it may be low normal or at least lower.
