Are There Still Beavers?

Carrier pigeons were employed in Belgium to smuggle tobacco. Each bird carried from 10 to 15 grams of the weed and two dozen pigeons per day were regularly dispatched. How long the new industry had been established has not stated, but one day a bird was too heavily loaded and he dropped with his burden exhausted into the scene. A police inquiry resulted and the whole business was exposed.
