Is Deep Learning a Part of Predicting Churn From Survey Results?
Lucas: Processing language data is pretty different from predicting churn. Does deep learning have any role to play or do you go to kind of more traditional models for that kind of tabular data? That's a great question Lucas. The interesting thing is that people have been trying to extend some of these ideas that came from transformers to tabular data as well. But I'm not convinced that the concept of pre-training, which is where most of the power in for the language models come from, doesn't quite apply. At least not in our setting.
