Sartre's idea that we're isolated and alone is our fundamental condition. And for Sart, in a sense, I think maybe Sart understands that from one angle, but he is very locked into a singular experience. For him, the outside, the external, the other, there's like, there's nothing there. All that is there are traps which take you away from yourself. That's what Hegel thinks about this conflict of being an individual subject with others who have competing desires.
