Do Original Research Pre Interview or Post Interview?

There are so many different ways that you can slice and dice the stuff, and there's no one right way to do it. The idea here is, especially if you're already doing a podcast, maybe this convinces you that you need to start doing one. It's just a missed opportunity not to build out some infra structure that allows you to do some original research.
