The Cultural Effects of Psychedelics
SSRIs are the most common class of antidepressant drugs. They have side effects like sexual dysfunction, jaw clenching and even increased risk of suicide. What society needs now is new tools to cope with depression, anxiety, and alexia,. OCD, all the mental health problems that psychedelics appear to help with. I think it'd be interesting to study cultural attitudes after psychedelics.
