The Importance of Venture Capital in the Philippines

In Thailand, we don't have as much structured venture capital in the form of funds that specifically target small and medium-sized businesses. Indonesia has a number of domestic funds which tend to be smaller, but they're usually relatively savvy. The Philippines is just who's not really a developed venture capital market yet. I'm not sure which to deploy capital into these countries. There's lots of people who would love to do small andmedium-sized venture capital in these countries. The problem is getting the money for it, getting investors to stump up.
