We don't cut to Anna's face for a while it would stand out to us if she like didn't look at him. The camera move being focused the camera being over her shoulder and just staying on him as he's explaining what's going on does the work of okay well it doesn't really matter what her reaction is. We're reading his reaction to figure out what's happening with her. He continues to be like disappointed that she's not talking to him we assume that she does glance at him but refuses to say something. It's very wisely done but when but it holds up on rewatch yeah.
