The Role of Methane in Mitigating Climate Impacts

Methane is a potent greenhouse gas more so than carbon dioxide on a molecule to molecule basis. As we reduce our methane emissions, we will actually see over a few decades that our atmospheric methane levels would go down. That's different than co2, co2 you've you may have heard the bath analogy, keep putting the bath water in it keeps going up and it's only when we turn on that drain of carbon dioxide, well it starts going down.
