In the last 25 years or so, we've had a sustained period of what is like the great disinflation. Incredibly loe o inflation combined with incredibly loose monetary policy. So you've got cheap money and capital in abundance in ways that probably haven't seem very time. If that trend continues, or we're hitting something new now, at a time when you know you have seven % inflation, no one's ever experienced that in the last 20 or 30 years.
