The Effects of QE on Asset Inflation
We spent a long period of time funding things somewhat indirectly with QE, right? QE starts in 2009. And it runs all the way through that decade. But that's a lot of QE with not much inflation during that period of time. So you can more or less get your central bank to just issue a load of new money and not get loads and loads of inflation. That's the reason why we don't normally fund things by printing a ton of money. Well, unless they save it.
