The Lebanese People Take Back to the Streets

The World Bank says Lebanon is undergoing one of the worst economic catastrophes the world has ever seen. The Lebanese people deservedly blame the rulers who have held power for decades for neglecting the country to enrich themselves instead. For years, the port of Beirut was sarcastically referred to as the Cave of Alibaba and the 40 thieves. As darkness fell on the streets of a shattered Beirut, protesters confronted Lebanese security forces.
