John Maynard King: By far, the worst evil of money is deflation. He says it's not because prices go down; that's a good thing. It's where we interrupt the circulation and free flow of money and credit in the economy," he says. "The little guy always gets slammed" when there's no money for payrolls or to hire workers, Keynes said.
