The Market's Response to Current Events

The degree of interest payments relative to corporate earnings or corporate cash flows is at record lows. And ultimately, that means a recession, if it does come to fruition, will be much less severe than what we've seen in the past at all likelihood. Liquidity is fair for reasonable size orders in the credit space, but large blocks can still take some time to clear the market certainly much longer than they would have taken several years ago. There's extreme uncertainty around the path for interest rates in our view.
