The Use of Media in the Film Industry
The community began using media independent of us as evidence for their own advocacy purposes. The rainforest is so dense it might take six days to walk over a mountain range to try to find an invasion site with, you know, an extra battery. It can be a 45 minute flight and you get an image from the air with metadata tagged that you can take to the public prosecutor. So I think we brought was this idea that you can also use film for cultural preservation, for artistic self expression.
