Having a Clear Purpose in M&A
When I came from investment banking into in-house, it was a massive transition for me. It's all about trust and you have to really build a relationship. We actually had that problem a lot. Purpose or perception or purpose would change. So people's priorities would change which necessarily wasn't aligned with the overall objectives. The first thing we do is we have our key objectives on the table on the left.
