Are We Going to Follow Business as Usual?
Business as usual means doing what we are approximately doing now, extrapolated into the future. The two risks that i think the highest are risks from unallined artificial intelligence and risk from engineered pendemics. I don't really thinkthey could happen next year. But i think, ha t they could well happen over the next hundred years. And so i think that when that realized, if i'm right that these risks are large at all, then that will become more obvious to people.
