The UK's Influence on the EU's Fingerprint Scheme

School trips from the European Union are falling off due to a variety of factors. We no longer accept EU identity cards as identification for people coming here and many kids in continental Europe have identity cards and not passports. When it comes to the EU border, I'm not sure how much influence we really have. The immigration is one area where the political constraints look like they might be tightest because we're just kicking off another big debate about immigration.
