CHAPTER

What's Your Idea, Gregg?

Tess's genius lies in getting stuff done, says Uyou. The company is able to squeeze genius out of the simplest tools and materials available. "It's way scrappier than i think a lot of people realize," he adds. If there was an episode about tessla aliens, it'd be like peak of rome askum or something.

Ohand by the way, you're on your own island in beth and pennsylvania. I we'll see you in 24. We got to go get them out of three out the door. Ges, so and it was like three people in leadership positions and like 20 25 material handlers. And what was really beautiful for me to see was howand this is enabled out to see by the leadership group there, that's, that's there, that has taken that elon sort of a, you know, that mission of like just first principles thinking, but mixture. There's no layers to anything. That's get stuff done. Am i saw so many peopleand maybe it's not necessarily an art thing, but it's, i saw so many people be able to solve problems in their own way and how they wanted to do it, and almost gave em like a little bit of a playground that says, ok, you know, e we have, we have two to four hours to get this thing figured out and tested. A, you know, joe, what's your idea, gregg, what's your idea? I think this would work. Oky, go go, go, go. Go tryit. What about you? Aa, jose, i think this would work. Ok, go quick. Go try it. Let's make it happen. And and it was almost out of desperation, in a sense, because of just how little it's, it's, it's way scrappier than i think a lot of people realize. It's so breaking scrappy in there. It's not like, like the cars, technology is supreme, but it is completely the opposite of what i experience. And that's why i use that sticks and stone's analogy. And, but i think that speaks massively to test thes true potential, is that they're able to squeeze genius out of the simplest tools and materials available, as other companies would spend millions and tens of millions in sophistication, and you end up coming out with the subpart product. And i think that's truly wer where tess's genius lies. And and it's because, for my perspective, what i saw was people being able to come up with their own solutions, you know, like being that artist does that. So does that aline with what you view that as orr, am i thinking about tefrenly,

ok,

totally.
Speaker 1
Uyou. You said that very well. But you also touched on the other aspect of it, which, which may be now i can refine as comfort and aesthetics. Am, so, yes, the creative expression of being an artist, yes, absolutely. In the problem solve. But man, if i could just make it less loud.
Speaker 2
God shar i got some
Speaker 1
if if i could, i love there's really attention to aesthetics at all levels of the product and the product design, in the factory that makes the product. But, ah, more of that. More of that. I mean, if the there was this start track the next generation episode where, i mean, the whole concept as you visit these other societies, writings independently of all societies, and then probe the possible weaknesses and strength of that type of society. And there's this one that they, they paint as utopia, and turns out to be all wrong, in manipulative, and, i don't no, brain parasites or something. But it starts out where it's just basically all beautiful people, and they're all artists, and they have, maybe this was a while ago, but like, maybe some super weapon that they agree not to use. But that's what protects them, so they can just worry about being awesome artists. And they're like, playing lutes and eating grapes and stuff. And it looks very like peak of rome askum. And maybe there's some problem with it. Well, like, the good part of that is, what should happen if the tessla aliens come here, right? Ye? But no, it'd be someone in a hard hat who's really sweating. I have to pe, and i've had weight too much coffeeu. I need to solve this in the next 15 minutes, otherwise, the line downyes, the lines occotiont like a lion te dive slows down. Throt. And like, that's cool. I superrespect it. And in fact, i'd be bored in the peak of romanesque one like that's actually what i crave. But it should be a little more beautiful. It

i i av how how to put a fine point on it. The inside of a tessle factory should look like an l v m h property company. And that's one mega company that owns.
