The Utility of Chest X Ray in a Diagnosis of Dismia
Ra: It's always great to have a differential mind even before you get to the exam, so can inform the way you're looking for things on the physical exam. A r d s would be something that we would expect to see a blooming on chest x ray with bilateral infiltrates. The other tool that's very useful if you have it available and you have some skill in using it, is point of car ultra sound. Ra: Is this patient having an acute cardiac event or is there evidence of right heart strain, which might again lead me to consider pulmenary ambolism?
