There is going to be a recession. And we just don't know when. If you're investing with the long term in mind and diversifying your portfolio, you will be able to weather these storms. The definition of the word invest is to put energy money into something for a long period of time. When you invest in yourself, you don't expect an immediate outcome. You're putting time and energy and money into something, expecting a worthwhile result after a significant period.
