The Birds Are the Kingpins of the Music Business
The birds were the kingpins before that time and they helped really launch a whole LA folk rock sound. Once tambourine man was released in April it took off fast which when you consider how different it was It just had such a penal to it. The songwriter got paid before anybody else before the band would see any royalties as a group.
