I worry about the fact that for our community that kind of kick on a level, that we've got to be having those conversations around. I'm very lucky in my job that there's a lot of space for me to actually do just straight up research. And I'm given the space to be able to do that without feeling guilty. If your analyst is only doing that, they're not that useful in the long run because they're doing stuff that anyone could do. So if you develop analysts who are curious, then you are developing better analysts than just bog standard work experience,. which I think so many analysts end up being through no fault of their own.
