Does Your Security Philosophy Change as You Go to Automobiles?
I'm arguing that cars aren't getting hacked because guys don't have the ability or the resources. So you don't see cars getting crashed every day because of cyber attacks. Maybe that is as much a detriment as the cost. On Windows, Microsoft has adopted this assume breach as a philosophy. You assume breach and you do detection and response. I'm guessing that in the car world, you can't really assume breach and deal with detection and response Because the dangers associated with an actual breach would be much higher.
