The MPT7B is an open-source computer vision model. It can detect traffic lights, pedestrians and other objects in the real world. The training process took 10 days of hundreds of GPUs costing $200,000 to train it. To take that model and then instruction fine-unit for following instructions? That took us two hours with just AGPUs costing about 40 bucks.
