The Large Settlement of New York Times v. Sullivan

This is one of the largest settlements in history of this kind of case. Donald Trump wants to make it easier to sue outlets for libelous or defamation, libel or defamation. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has also made noises about wanting to expand the reach of libel law. It's sometimes spoken as if the Supreme Court came in and replaced common law.
