The War on Cuba

This week on The Daily Discussion, Jarrett Bellini looks at the weaponization of music in hip hop. He says it's not just jazz diplomacy that can be used against countries such as Cuba. U.S. intelligence up till this point had infiltrated organized labor, media, journalism,. so why not the culture as well? CIA quite literally ran and funded journals, magazines, books that came out without telling anybody they were doing it to present a picture of a country.
