The Story of Annie Hall

"I was grateful I didn't write as bad a piece as I would fear I would have written," says Brian O'Neill. "There was so much to her story, and you would think with all of that, she would all along have been this sort of like austere difficult character", writes O'Neill about the late Annie Hall actress. 'She always had a little bit of a she kept her edge,' adds O'Neill on his former co-star who died last year at age 89.
