The History of the Bask Children Association
The Bask Children Association was set up in 2002 by people connected to the experience of 1937. The association has built up quite a large archive of testimony and other materials relevant to the Bask Children's story. It used to hold reunions for significant anniversaries where the children could meet and talk about their experiences to different audiences. We increasingly have links with the Bask Country itself, which is why there are now blue plaque commemorating Ipswich colonies.
