In 2017, in response to freedom of information, request, GIDS said that they had referred 1,261. That might not sound very many but it's about 20%. But I think it's quite misleading to look at it that way. And this is what GIDS haven't really answered: how many of the people that were eligible were referred because there's one graph in the book.
