The Joy of Teaching

I grew up in a place where the path to success was being an investigator. I kept coming back to the part where the thing that brought me the most joy was teaching, whether that was teaching clinically or teaching in a classroom. So I think it's kind of in my genes, my dad's a PhD educator, my mom's a PhD nurse educator. And so I think it reinvigorates me every time I work with a partner. Nothing's more exciting than a first year medical student who is super excited about becoming a doctor.
