The Mystery of Existence in the East
In Eastern traditions, the ultimate ground of being is beyond human understanding. This concept hasn't had a terribly large influence on religious thinking and religious life in the West. In Western religious traditions, there is nothing mysterious about existence. A God who knew what he was doing was responsible. But these divinities are projections of one's own divinity.
