The Lunacy of the Amnesty Tour
I mean, the lunacy of it, you know. It's just, well, it wasn't so much lunacy as it was a behemoth of a tour. We had two airplanes, two DC-10s that flew us around the world. Oakland to Tokyo, Tokyo to New Delhi, New Delhi to Athens. They're long flights. There's seven, eight hours, six, you know, and it's tiring. And coach. You're in every town for three days. I'm on the Great Wall of China for half an hour with Wham. Wow.
