Antithetical Criticism - Bloom's Manifesto

Bloom gives us a manifesto for antithetical criticism if you ever find yourself compelled to read great poems or great books the way bloom does. Bloom implores us that we don't read a poet as a poet but very similar to embracing a lover we must read the entire family romance it tells us that ideological readings reduce  if we reduce at all it is only to another poem. These are very exciting and empowering mindsets for inspiring a passion for voracious reading because there's a tall order here in this style of reading this style of criticism.
