The Limits of Eastern Spirituality
If you're interested in Eastern spirituality, if you don't have that faculty for the contemplative and for the intuitive sense, Eastern spirituality definitely is not for you. If you put it under a strict rigorous intellectual analysis, sure, you may come to a conclusion that advice of a delta, mindfulness and these sorts of things has value but the philosophies can be ignored. So this is where we commit cultural appropriation, right? Where we take just the practice and we don't want to have any of the culture or the philosophy behind it.
