Kara: Have you ever heard people tell you that watching Harry Potter movies or reading the books is a good way to learn about British culture no but I have to confess I have never watched a Harry Potter movie and I haven't read any of the books. What sort of movies should people watch to learn about culture? Kara: Avoid fantasy because it's not based on on real life and go for things that are kind of grounded in concrete everyday situations where you're going to see people chatting with plenty of dialogue.
