What's the Story of Jim Watkins?

Watkins says he moved to the Philippines in 2001, but didn't really commit to moving there until 2004. His business partner Tom Rydell told the Washington Post that the court notice Jim had paid for was incorrect. "I speak it much better than he does," Watkins said of his ability to speak Filipino.
