Is There Crowd-Sourcing in the Wheel of Time?

There are all these Wheel of Time fan sites and stuff, like how much of the material in this book was sort of crowd sourced from the community. How much of it was you kind of going through Jordan's notes and going through the books and stuff and coming up with things or so?
