The Sentence of Just Stop Oil Protesters
We had six Just Stop Oil protesters at Silverstone last year. I think the sentencing was far too lenient, and I think it is contributing to the ongoing disruption that's being caused. There's plenty of ways to protest in this country, but running on to our motor racing circuit is not one of them. And I think people would be massively deterred if those six people had received custodial sentences. It's a view that is clearly coming from government as well. Obviously they don't determine the sentencing, but they are looking for stronger sentencing as well.
